Vintage Latin American folkloric / peasant-style ric-rac ruffle maxi dress

I am not sure that my camera is getting the color right. Main color is a shade of green. Accent colors are blue, red and yellow.

In my opinion, color/dress is more beautiful in person than pics portray. Just an opinion.

Origin / style note: This dress is unsigned with no maker or content tags, so I can’t say for certain where it was made. The design, colors and ric-rac trim are very similar to traditional Latin American folkloric / peasant festival dresses often associated with Mexico and Central America, but the exact country or community of origin is unknown. Please purchase it for its style and look rather than as a documented piece from any specific culture or tribe.

My guess is that it may have been handmade. Therefore, any imperfections in stitching is to be considered character.

I personally consider the condition as extremely nice. But, don’t go by an opinion. See pics to decide if you agree.

As previously stated, I am uncertain of original origin. I can tell you that the dress was sourced in/from the Palm Springs area of southern California.

Color can be affected by lighting, background, device or monitor. In person color may differ from color in pics.

Although I do prefer laying flat measurements (as seen in photos), some measurements with the fabric pulled taut:

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam is 13 1/2”.

Armpit seam to armpit seam across chest is 18”.

Due to being stored in inventory, due to being compact during shipment, there is a possibility the item may arrive with more wrinkles than seen in the pics.
